Madeleine Laser is an Associate Attorney focusing her practice on elder law and special needs planning, with particular emphasis in Mental Hygiene Law Article 81 and Surrogate’s Court Procedure Act Article 17-A guardianships. She represents clients from appointment through final accounting and advises individuals and families on estate planning and asset protection, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care proxies, and Medicaid planning.
Madeleine’s dedication to this field is deeply personal. Growing up with a sister with autism inspired her to advocate for individuals with disabilities and their families, informing her compassionate, client-centered approach to guardianship and special needs planning.
Madeleine earned her Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, where she ranked in the top of her class and published a law journal article on disability planning and ABLE accounts . Outside of her practice, she enjoys knitting, going to the beach, listening to podcasts, and traveling.
